01Scope of Work
This proposal covers a complete rewire of the residence at {{client_address}} — approximately {{home_sqft}} sq ft with existing {{existing_wiring}} wiring.
Pre-construction
• Walkthrough with {{client_name}} to identify outlet, switch, and fixture locations, including any desired relocations
• Document existing fixtures to be reused vs. replaced
• Pull electrical permit from AHJ
Demolition prep
• Mark drywall cut locations before demo to minimize patching
• Remove existing switch plates, outlet covers, and fixtures as needed
• De-energize house at the service entrance
New wire install
• Install new 200A service if not already upgraded (priced separately if needed — see panel upgrade template)
• Run new 12 AWG and 14 AWG copper NM-B (Romex) or equivalent per NEC
• Install {{circuit_count}} new branch circuits covering lighting, general receptacles, small appliance circuits, bathroom, laundry, HVAC, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and dedicated circuits per NEC
• AFCI/GFCI protection per current code
• All outlets tamper-resistant per NEC 406.12
• Smoke and CO detectors hardwired and interconnected per code
Drywall and paint
• Drywall patches at all access holes (blue-tape layout first for {{client_name}} approval)
• Texture match to existing
• Primer and paint: one coat primer, two coats color paint on patched areas (no full wall repaint included unless itemized)
Inspection and closeout
• AHJ rough and final inspections
• Panel directory labeling
• Homeowner walkthrough on circuit layout and AFCI/GFCI reset procedure
