01Scope of Work
This proposal covers a complete water-supply repipe of the residence at {{client_address}} — approximately {{home_sqft}} sq ft with {{bath_count}} bathrooms. Existing material: {{existing_material}}. New material: {{new_material}}.
Pre-construction
• Walkthrough to identify fixture locations and any desired relocations
• Plan drywall cut locations for minimum disruption
• Pull permit from AHJ
Isolation & removal
• Shut off main water supply; drain existing system
• Open drywall at planned access points; cut and remove existing supply piping
• Cap stubs at fixtures for shutoff during construction
• Existing pipes inside walls left in place (dead-line) where removal would require excessive demo — only live pipes are abandoned
New supply install
• Install new {{new_material}} manifold near the main water shutoff
• Run home-run lines to each fixture (manifold system) OR trunk-and-branch per design
• New quarter-turn shutoff valves at each fixture
• Pressure-test at 100 PSI for 30 minutes before sheetrock closure
• Insulate hot and cold lines in unconditioned spaces per IECC
Reconnection
• Reconnect all fixtures (faucets, toilets, tub/shower valves, hose bibs, washing machine, ice maker, water heater)
• Install new shutoff valves at each fixture
• Install pressure-reducing valve at main if incoming pressure exceeds 80 PSI
Drywall & paint
• Patch all access holes with drywall
• Texture-match to existing
• Prime and paint one coat color on patched areas (no full wall repaint unless itemized)
Inspection & closeout
• AHJ rough and final inspection
• Final pressure test with AHJ present
• Homeowner walkthrough on manifold shutoffs and new fixture operation
