01Scope of Work
This proposal covers a remodel of the pool at {{client_address}} — approximately {{pool_gallons}} gallons. Scope includes:
Drain & prep
• Drain pool via submersible pumps (to approved discharge)
• Pressure wash interior surfaces
• Install drain caps over hydrostatic valves to prevent pop-out during work
Demo
• Chip existing plaster to concrete shell (hammer or bush-hammer; full chip-out, not bond coat)
• Remove existing waterline tile
• Remove existing coping (if being replaced)
• Haul-off debris
Tile install
• Install {{tile_selection}} at waterline; thinset with modified acrylic
• Grout with color-matched sanded grout
• Seal grout
Coping install
• Install {{coping_selection}} coping on bond beam; mortar-set
• Caulk expansion joint between coping and deck with self-leveling pool caulk
• Miter and blend inside corners where visible
Interior resurface
• Install acid-etched bond coat on shell
• Install {{interior_finish}} — 3/8" thickness for plaster, 1/2" for pebble/aggregate
• Hand-trowel or exposed-aggregate finish per product
• Water pool immediately upon finish completion to begin startup cycle
Equipment pad (if in scope)
• Replace pump, filter, heater, or salt system per itemized line items
• Install new VSP (variable-speed pump) required by Energy Star in many states
Startup
• Fill pool from house hose or water-truck (trucked fill itemized if needed)
• Brush interior 2–3x daily during the first 30 days (plaster cure)
• Balance water chemistry
• Homeowner orientation on new plaster care (30-day brush schedule, startup chemistry)
