01Scope of Work
This proposal covers equipment pad upgrade at {{client_address}}.
Equipment install
• Pump: {{pump_spec}}
• Filter: {{filter_spec}}
• Salt system: {{salt_spec}}
• Automation: {{automation_spec}}
Removal
• Isolate electrical to pad, verify lockout/tagout
• Drain equipment pad, disconnect plumbing at unions
• Remove existing pump, filter, heater (if replacing), and controller
• Haul-off old equipment
Install
• Set new pump, filter, and salt cell on existing pad (pad replacement billable if existing is deteriorated)
• Replumb as needed with schedule 40 PVC and clear unions
• Install flex connectors (not PVC) between pump and rigid plumbing to reduce vibration (code in most jurisdictions)
• Install 3-way valve for sanitizer feeder or chlorinator
• Electrical: connect VSP to existing pump circuit (verify wire gauge is 10 AWG or larger for VSP performance); new RS-485 communication wiring for automation
• Low-voltage wiring between controller, automation relays, and relay box
Commissioning
• Prime pump; bleed air from filter
• Set VSP schedule (typical: 2,200 RPM 8 hrs/day for main turnover)
• Set salt cell output to target PPM (typically 3,000 PPM)
• Configure automation: schedules, freeze protection, spa-to-pool mode (if applicable)
• App setup: connect IntelliCenter to homeowner Wi-Fi and mobile device
• Water balance: alkalinity, pH, cyanuric, salt, calcium hardness
Energy-rebate documentation:
• Provide AHRI certificate (equivalent) / pump specification sheet for utility VSP rebate submission
