01Scope of Work
This proposal covers installation of a {{charger_brand}} Level 2 EV charger at {{client_address}} with a dedicated 240V/{{circuit_amps}} circuit.
Install details
• {{wire_run_feet}} feet of 6 AWG copper NM-B or THHN in conduit (per code and distance)
• New 2-pole breaker in main panel (or sub-panel, whichever is closer)
• {{install_location}} mounting; charger secured to studs with appropriate backing
• If plug-in: NEMA 14-50 or 6-50 receptacle per charger manufacturer requirement
• If hardwired: direct connection per manufacturer spec with whip and disconnect
• Conduit routing: concealed within walls where accessible; surface-mounted EMT or Carlon where required, with color-matched paint where requested
• Ground-fault protection per NEC 625 where applicable
Verification & pairing
• Verify polarity, voltage, and ground
• Pair charger with {{client_name}}'s Wi-Fi network and mobile app
• Demonstrate charger operation with {{client_name}}'s EV (30-minute test charge)
Panel capacity check
• {{contractor_name}} performs a load calculation per NEC 220 before the install
• If existing panel lacks capacity, options include load-sharing device (DCC-10), panel upgrade, or circuit priority switch (additional cost by Change Order)
