01Scope of Work
This proposal covers an electrical service upgrade at {{client_address}} from {{existing_service}} to 200A service with a new {{new_panel_brand}}.
Utility coordination
• Schedule {{utility_company}} service disconnect and reconnect
• Obtain permit from the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
• Coordinate inspections
Removal & prep
• Verify full de-energization (lockout/tagout) before work begins
• Remove existing meter base, main panel, and all conductors
• Protect interior finish with drop cloths during work
New service install
• Install new Code-compliant service mast (overhead) or trench and install new service conduit (underground)
• Install new meter base approved by {{utility_company}}
• Install new 200A main breaker panel with copper bus and labeled circuits
• Reconnect all existing branch circuits to new panel with properly sized breakers
• Install new grounding electrode system (ground rods per NEC 250.52; bond to water pipe and structural steel where applicable)
• Install new neutral-ground bond at service entrance
• Install Type 2 surge protective device (SPD) per 2023 NEC 230.67
• Arc-fault and ground-fault protection for required circuits per current code
Testing & inspection
• Megger-test main feeder
• Verify polarity and grounding on all branch circuits
• Schedule AHJ rough and final inspection
• Coordinate {{utility_company}} reconnect (typically same day; power-off window 4–8 hours)
Closeout
• Label all circuits in new panel directory
• Provide {{client_name}} with panel schedule and inspection pass certificate
